1. We will check for free with BT whether your phoneline can be set up for ADSL.
   
   
2. We help you pick an ADSL Internet Service Provider (ISP). Like a normal ISP you should look for price, fast reliable connections and access to reasonably priced human technical support.
   
   Some well known names perform poorly so try to check ADSL guide for full listings, latest prices and some independent ratings by users.
   
   
3. We then help you order your connection. It should take about a week for your ISP to get BT to set you up for ADSL at your local exchange. They will confirm when it is ready.
   
   
4. We help you order the necessary equipment:
   
   ADSL modem or other devices if you wish to connect to small networks.
   
   2 Splitters (microfilters). These plug in to your phone socket and separate your phone from your ADSL connection. Without it you will have trouble with interference on your phone/fax line.
   
   You will get 2 of these with your modem (and may need more).
   
   
5. We will Install your modem and splitters. We will deal with BT and your ISP if needed on your behalf.
   
   
6. We will install free firewall software to help protect your PC against hackers.
